Syarikat Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sendirian Berhad and its subsidiaries Takaful Brunei organised a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony in conjunction with Ramadhan at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town. This afternoon's ceremony marked the completion of Al-Qur'an reading by Takaful Brunei employees.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Takaful Brunei. 63 orphans received donations at the event. Also held was the presentation of tithe to the Brunei Darussalam Islamic Religious Council, MUIB. The event also included the presentation of Takaful Amal Jariah TBK contributions to several representatives of welfare institutions and organisations in the country and the presentation of endowment for the mosque's use.
